I saw work on antielectron collisions, i missed you.

 

I saw artificial intelligence with British accent and satirical tone, i missed you.

 

I saw avengers fighting with aliens from wherever out of the Earth, i missed you.

 

 

Reading reminds me of you.

 

Men in suits reminds me of you.

 

Laboratory experiment reminds me of you.

 

 

You are everywhere.

 

You are never left.

 

 

I can still smell them.

 

The perfume you weared. 

 

The spray-paint you prefered.

 

The doughnut you cannot live without.

 

 

And the touch. 

 

Shake hands. Hugs. Blablabla……

 

It was warm. Comfortable. Reliable. 

 

Not too deliberate, not too much.

 

It was just...fine.

 

 

I remembered every single word you said.

 

Your childhood. Your daily job. Your incredible work.   

 

Your family. Your friend. Your retirement plan.

 

You.

 

What you was once worried. What you had ever dreamed. 

 

Even if i am still not the kind of doctor.

 

 

You took care of me.

 

You took care of everyone.

 

 

Now i am live in a small city with warm sunshine.

 

Teach students, do my studies.

 

And continue our research on the Earth’s defense line. 

 

To help build a stronger world. 

 

To miss you.

 

 

I live alone, feed a cat, enjoy sunbath of every Friday morning.

 

The lifestyle i used to told you.
